Can you fix my computer?
In most cases we can fix a computer, but sometimes parts are worn or damaged and then it is not always possible to provide exact replacements. But most of the time we can replace parts with similar parts and the computer will work perfectly well again.
My WiFi is not working can you fix it?
We offer a call out service so we can visit you to resolve your network and WiFi issues. It is quite common that we can fix your network issue without any parts of components. But sometimes something needs updating or replacing. We will provide an estimate before undertaking any work. But we do charge a call out fee.
Can you fix my printer?
Printers are not always cost effective to repair and sometimes it is simply cheaper to replace them. We of course only offer to repair when it is the cost effective solution. When we think it is cheaper to replace we can provide fair prices and recommend a printer to suit your needs.
Can you back up my devices
We do not back up your data ourselves, you and your systems will do that. What we do is set up your devices and configure them to back up on a scheduled basis. We can advise and configure local backup solutions and cloud based ones.
Can you recover my Uni work?
A lot of the time it is possible to recover your work when you have deleted it, not saved it, or your hard drive has failed, But if you have saved another file over it with the same name, then it sometimes becomes more complex. We are always happy to attempt to recover you data in these circumstances but believe we have to be honest and tell you it is not always possible.
I have a virus can you remove it?
Yes, usually we can, but some viruses are particularly difficult to remove such as boot viruses. We cannot always guarantee to remove these, but have been sucessfull on many occaions. We try to be reasonably priced and will only charge you the absolute minimum when we do not remove a virus. And we are confident that if we cannot remove it then no other local company will be able to.
What Custom Built PC's do you build?
We are happy to build any PC specification that you want. We will offer you advice on compatibilty of components and will tell you when something is not going to work.
My hard drive is full can you move my files to a new device
We can usually move you data from an hard drive to another. It has to be a bigger storage capacity. There are some occasions when this is not the best solution but we would advise you of this before carrying out any work.
